A friend came over tonight with his Early 80's 150 Mercury that has a jet on the lower unit.
Says it always had a beep beeping to start and then once running it went away. He says its VRO, and not premix fuel.
Does anyone know what this alarm may be all about and why it now doesn't want to shut off once the engine is running? He's a little spooked to run it until figured out.
