I have been using polk audio's on my tower and I really like them. Got lucky on e-bay last winter and got a light bar and speaker set-up for little money and they have been kicking hard since, so issues at all!

Personally, I don't understand the "Need" for them, but as long as I don't have to hear it while enjoying the lake, to each his own. I just think people should keep their "Music" to themselves and not force others to listen to it.

May sound like a dumb question, so excuse me if it does, but will I need another amp to run them? Also, if any of you wired it yourself, is there a wiring kit I can get for running the wires in a clean way?

YES you will need an AMP of you dont have one now for them to really do any good. As far as the wiring there are WAKEBOARD TOWER WIRING kits on eBay that make it super simple. I just used a thick gauge speaker wire and ran it throught the tube then used some wire loom on the outside for a clean look.....

Kicker KMT-6. Got some after reading a good few positive reviews and could not be happier. 3 speakers in each unit running off a 600w amp and sound great. Worth a look.:)

An I wish people would keep their exhaust under the water line so I am not forced to listen to poeple over compensating for a lack in one area with a big engine making big noise.

So, to each their own.

Well, I am being serious. Try staying on a houseboat sometime. At least stereos can be turned down. Those with respect for others will wire their system to fade the tower speakers on and off, and use the volume control.

Those dang open exhaust boats are always loud... even at 3am when they need to leave the Marina. Though, you know... I have to tolerate them... so live with my music on the open water.

I enjoy my infinity 6000M speaker....two mids and a tweeter in each. I appreciate being able to rotate 360-dgree, I can aim them towards the bow for a long run across the lake, then swivel them 180 for when we have a rider in the water. They work well for my needs, this is my second season with them.

That is one thing I wish I had is speakers that I can swivel! The last time we were at the lake I was wishing I could do that when we pulled up to the beach area.......
