Towing an inflatable

Hi all,
I have a 4.2m Zodiac inflatable and an excellent trailer. My question is.. is it safe to tow the boat with engine attached? The transom sits on a cross brace at the back of the trailer, but thinking about it i'd be concerned with the amount of flex an inflatable boat may have with that weight on the back while towing?

if trailer is set up properly, with transom saver, there should be no problem.

What do you mean by transom saver? Think we probably have different words for it in the UK? Many thanks Joe
