I've just purchased the SB 275 and a Mercury 6hp from West Marine and I am planning to tow it behind my boat.
What do I need to be aware of ? Can I leave the motor on the dinghy ?
I'm guessing that the bow ring is not strong enough so I'd need to have some method of attaching a line to the transom ?

All your advice is appreciated.
Thanks

You can tow your sib with engine attached, but back engine to have prop out of water, rotate engine to any side untill firm to side. Do not tow with people on board, sib must be completely empty, don't use front dring, wll tear glued patch, this dring is for anchor or pier use. Tow securing a large U rope, tie ends to both lateral d'rings.

Happy Boating
