But the two big plusses...the bungee part (which is about four feet) stretches until the tube planes, then snaps it forward a little and gives it a little zing. The second plus is that when when you are doing what we call the 'slingshot maneuver', making a tight turn while sending the tube in a big arc...it seems to make the tube speed up when you let off a little and the elastic contracts. so YES, it will fling your kids farther. or your wife. or your neighbors teenager. and you, when its your turn on the tube and your passengers seek their revenge.
I have that exact rope and used it all last summer (our first boat and first summer on the lake). We love it. Used it to pull a tube and kneeboard, though not at the same time. It takes some of the shock out when the slack goes out of the line.Has anybody tried the bungee tow rope?
Just wondering if it would increase my kid-flinging distance.
