Well a new V-16's max motor is a 75hp so I would say you would be a little under powered. But just remember it all depends what you want to do with the boat. If you are gonna pull a tuber or skier or what ever you may be underpowered but if your just using it for fishing all it means is its gonna take a little longer to get to where you want to fish.
