Trailer for a tri hull

Anyone have any ideas about a good trailer for a 1979 Rinkerbuilt tri hull.. The dilly i have now is so hard to load.. Thanks I have a 16 ft

Can you show us some pictures, and a better description than "hard to load". And is it also hard to unload? Do you have to put the trailer in too deep to get the boat up to the bow post? Are the tow vehicles rear wheels in the water? Is the winch too small? Can't help much with nothing to go on...

I used to have a 78 Glastron trihull. It had a Holsclaw roller trailer with a center pivot. When the water was deep we'd just launch it without bending the trailer at the middle. If the water was shallow we'd unlatch the pivot on retreive and the rear of the trailer would rock downward with the weight of the bow. As the boat came onto the trailer the back of the trailer would tilt down, and once the boat's center of gravity was above the axle the rear section of the trailer would come back even with the tongue section. Then we'd relock the center pivot. My dad bought that boat & trailer for short money, I didn't even notice the pivot when I was a teenager. I "found" it many years after I first used the trailer when retrieving in a low water situation. It was a little over engineered, but it saved me a few times.

Here is the tri hull..and the shot of the trailer.. Yes I have to back the SUV back tires into the water to launch and retrieve, The hard part is retrieving . very hard to line up on the center rollers, there are 4 of them and I also have the high boat plastic stablizers on the back to help steady the back of the boat.

The back sides on the trailer have small rollers to catch the outer under sides of the boat.

You really have to back in deep to get boat on and most of the time the boat never lines up on the rollers... Just frustrating to take this boat out because I know I will at boat launch for at least 20 minutes trying to load it again

I went to the boat store yesterday and he recommended much larger rollers for the middle of the trailer..

About a $250.00 project.

I thought about it but decided to sell the boat as I was planning on already.
There is no trim tilt to the engine,very heavy to pull up . I have redone the floors, carpeting and seats.
I bought a 1985 starcraft center console that I had my eyes on..I mostly fish and this would be a better option at this point in my life . Lighter to pull vs fiberglass.

Looks to me like the trailer is too small/short for that boat.

I see an AL suffix on your registration #, where 'ya located?
