I got me an inflatable 3.8m, and ss you can see its still in the spare room stage .
The plan was to chuck it and the motor in Ravi ( Toyota Rav4 ) and inflate/assemble once on site ,but this thing weighs 80kg without motor (another 40kg ) or other vital junk .
I thought it would be an easy way to get on the water for floundering solo ,the idea being that I could lean over the side (to spear the flounders ) with the buoyancy being right under me it would be stable . Turns out this set up is way to heavy for me to manage so Im up for building a light trailer with an outboard support .
Question is what would one line the (basically plywood box on wheels ) trailer with that is pvc friendly . I want to be able to slide the boat on and of without damaging the bottom and drive to and from launch site which is only 8km away ....Ill probly tow it with my quad seeing as how its all farm back roads .
