Agree, Trailer looks to narrow. I would want flat bunks, at least 4.

Why would you want Flat, flimsy bunks? These Beams provide more supoport and strength.

To the other posters, that trailer cannot get wider and be legal...

Agree, 106" is max, but that looks like a 96".

Also agree the beams are stronger but I am concerned that the are putting to much pressure on a small area as opposed to flat bunks

I have stated that the beams should be angled to match the hull for maximum contact. Those beams are 4" wide, and with an angle cut would be about 4 1/2 to 5" wide. That trailer has plenty of support. Those types of trailers are very popular in my area. Additionally, Venture Marine sets up their $250,000+ boats (34' & 39') on trailers with that identical design...

Get it surveyed. If they didn't bother to pay the bill for it, do you think they bothered to cover it up? or change the oil?

i have to go look at the boat again, the guys at the dealer said that they can adjust the bunks on the trailer. but i didnt get that warm feeling. the carpet on the i think its a 4x10 has come loose, they said they can fix it. but the wood that the boat sits on is an edge like a 90 deg there is no angle cut on the wood but i know for sure that the front is supported on a thick piece of wood witha v notch in it. im gonna find the info for the guy who made the trailer and ask him if he has the correct measurements. im just doing a long drive from southern ca to bay area and dont want any mishaps on the way. thanks for the help.

What do you mean, "the guy that made the trailer". That trailer was manufactured by Quickload. The trailer is right. The boat dealer would have set it up fr that boat. I think the only thing that is an issue is getting the top of the bunks cut down to angle to the hull....

i did a search and cannot find a webpage just a buisness profile and found that the contact person there is named jack? dont know if hes the main contact or a rep or what. the angle part is what i have questions about.

With a repo boat and trailer, I would guess that some maintainance should be done prior to towing the boat this long distance. First make sure the tire side wall have no checking or dry rot. If you see any signs, replace all four tires. Check to make sure the brakes are in wroking order and I would repack the wheel bearings. Last, I would make sure that you have the trailer adjusted for tongue weight. With this done, the long tow should not be a problem.
