How can you be sure you bounced the tongue in the armored vee instead of somewhere else on your tailgate?

1. The vee is 14 inches wide which gives you plenty of lead-in
2. On most trucks the ball is lower than the tailgate

Don't think the V thingy would work for me, where I store the boat the surface is very course rock and it is difficult to move the hitch sideways. Due to uneven ground and lots of wind, if I put something under the jack to allow it to move the wind would move it when not wanted.

I bought the tennis ball system to use this past summer. The only problem that I have is that I can`t see the ball attached to the truck hitch because of the tailgate. The rod does not extend far enough to be visable beyond the top of the tailgate. Anybody else have this problem?

I haven't tried a wireless camera, mine is license plate mounted and hard wired into the head unit to display on the 7" motorized screen. Best upgrade I've made to the truck. Now I can hook with one shot every time.

My MDX has a backup installed on it (OEM). It is amazing and will always get one on any vehicle I use for towing. If any complaints, it isn't with the camera, but sometimes it is a little harder to get it setup when you are on a hill.
