Many modern vehicles cannot be fitted with a front mounted trailer hitch because of the way they are designed to absorb energy in a crash.

Check with your Toyota dealer.

I had a front mount hitch on a 95 Ford Bronco.The coast Guard instructor said that this was very good to have. I never used it. Try the gaeden tractor thing first. I have a friend that moves travel trailers at his business with one.Can to post a couple of pictures of what you have.

etrailer.com shows a front mount hitch and receiver for a 2000 Land Cruiser.
