Re: Trailer Runners or Rollers?
Bunks or rollers is an always ongoing debate. There must be a hundred threads on the topic. There isn't a clear answer. There are a few thousand opinions.
Over a period of about 18 months and moving to a heavier and longer tin boat, I slowly switched my opinion from rollers to bunks. This choice was made for the protection of the hull and not the ease of loading or unloading. If I could have purchase more rollers like the ones I had I may have faced a tougher choice. Rollers on shallow ramps probably are the clear winner for ease of movement.
