Here in Florida, my tires usually last only 3-5 years. I run salt and fresh with year round use. Around that time frame I start to see cracking between the treads and usually one of the four will exhibit a blowout on the road. I now try to watch them more closely and change all four at the first sign of cracking. My family's safety is more important than getting another half season from a set of tires.
