Re: Tralier Parks Happy

Really late Friday(early Saturday) the store is full of stinking fishermen looking for last minute stuff before they go out for the weekend....oh wait, I've done that, scratch the last. d:)

On a serious note, late Saturday night is interesting here, all the goth people shop then.

With the 'trailer parks' being the economic powerhouses they are, I find it hard to believe they could be the only source of income for the worlds largest retailer. Personally, I avoid Wal Mart, but the wife seems to like the place.

I've been in a Wal mart at 2am, granted it was during the summer and not christmas, but it was almost surprising to see that many people in there. Mostly people doing grocery shopping and stuff.

I would really like to know how many of those employees had to be coerced? You can usually find people who will work any hours.

I worked 3rd shift in retail for a while when I started college. It is a motely crew to say the least. 30 to 30 yr olds, no families but 5 or 6 kids that they have had with various partners. On any given night 1/3 of them would call in sick. It was quite a high turnover rate. Thats just my expirience, its probably differs from place to place.
