transducer mounting

I have just bought a second chartplotter/sounder and was wondering if it was ok to mount the second transducer on the same side as the 1st one. Will it effect the sensitivity if both are near each other. would prefer not to have to mount on other side if possible. Any help would be great

If you use them at the same time I'd try to get some space between them unless they are different frequencies. If different frequencies they should co-exist fine on the same side.
