I got the vinyl and am currently reupholstering the interior. I will post pics soon. It is getting close to being finished. I just need to find some seats and order some small details (New drain, splashwell drains, bilge thru hull fitting, etc...). Most of the plywood in the upholstery was rotted and alot is still actually wet (how does moisture stay in it 5 months I dont know) so I have had to cut new plywood for most of it. I dont know why but they used 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" plywood which just made it more expensive for me because I had to buy a sheet of each to rebuild it.

OK Here's my opinion (for what it's worth, not my boat)

I like the bow stripe in the third one, but it doesn't flow with the stern graphics (to me) In that pic to me the hull bow needs something.

The second one flows the best and is balanced. I'd say I really like that one if you hadn't done the bow stripe in the other.

I'm so confused

Either way you decide it's gonna look great.

mountian man if you look back a few pages skibum asked for Ideas for graphics on the boat if you look back you will see others posted their ideas as well. Glad you like my Ideas Kinda hope skibum does to.

Sorry it has been so long but life got in the way. I am making good progress on the interior. I have had to replace most of the plywood as well as the vinyl. most of the plywood is actually still wet and as soft as the floor was.

Doesn't look too bad man. That is really going to be bright.
Are you using the old foam? Make sure it is dry.

Yes bob it is the old foam and it is dry and in good shape. not much to go wrong with foam as long as it is not worn thru. I am using stainless steel staples which are not cheap but should be worth it. I am on my second 1000 pack now.

Nice work. That's a big savings doing it yourself. My old staples were dust in places so the stainless is a good investment.

My frames will be done this week sometime as I finish the epoxying.

Thanks sprintst. I am having a hard time getting ahold of used seats so I may try building my own I will have plenty of leftover plywood to play with. I just wish I could find some pictures of plywood bucket frames to go by. I have 2 ideas currently. first is to cut a bottom that is curved on back and then laminate thin layers around the curve and then cut to shape. the other is to have a square bottom, a square back and flat sides to support the back. If I do make my own seats I will post many pics for others to follow since I have searched the internet and found nothing.

try the local auto wrecker.

find what you like with heated seats and make them what you want.

the upholstery is allready patterened for you......so just take the seat panels apart, and use them as a template !

The sewing looks really good. It's a nice color combination as well. I didn't read through everything on this post just yet, but looked at the picture progress. It's a pretty nice looking boat. Keep up the good work on this.

I am really gaining on the interior. I put alot of it together today and wow it is starting to look real good. Sorry I didnt want to stop to take pics but If its 60 degrees tomorrow again I will put some more pieces in and get pictures. I have everything in front of the windshield done, the sides are done, and the back seat bottom is done. as is alot of the dash. I need to make 1 dash piece, and the backs to the back seat as well as the buckets. I also need to figure out a background for the guages. from there it is mainly assembly and order a few parts off the internet. If the weather keeps going like it is now I will be on the lake within a month.

Well it looks like you figured it out, I've spent the past hour and I'm still getting an "invalid file" when I try to download (or upload) the photobucket pics to a thread I'd like to post. Help I figured how to download them onto photobucket, so I have an Album but when I try to get iboats to find them it says invalid file. I have resized them to iboats guidelines. Do I copy the URL link? I've tried that and it doesn't work. Any help will be appreciated.
