Hey SKIBUM1M,
After you get the graphics completed, when are you planning to mount the motor on her?
I'm sure the graphic will look sweet.
Looking forward to seeing them.

Re: transom and floor replacement

The wait is over. The graphix plan changed at the last minuit. I dropped it off last night and they emailed the picture to me this morning. It didnt look right so I went down and picked a new one. They cut and installed them and I picked it up this afternoon. Then tonight I installed the guages, wiring, and steering. Tomorrow it is supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny so I will install the gass tank, tilt pump, battery, bilge pump, and motor. I am almost tempted to try to get it out on the lake tomorrow but I will have to see how time goes. I am still waiting for a splashwell drain, thru hull fitting for the bilge pump, and the boot in the splashwell. The drains and fittings were hard to find in chrome so thats why I had to order them. Anyway here are the long awaited pictures...

The dash which I had to wait on to wire because the vinyl had to go behind everything

They forgot the larson emblem on the right so I waited and drooled over the boat while they cut it and installed it.

Hey Skibum that looks awesome! I wish I was as close to splashing mine as you are! All that sanding and buffing really paid off! Congrats on having a real eye catcher!:D:D:D

Thanks Arch, I am really happy with how it's coming out. You would be as close as I am if you got laid off too. This boat is the only way I mentally got thru the winter with the wife gone and me being unemployed and home alone with the kids

Thanks seamore I dont know about 45000 but I like it better than alot of boats that are 20000
Sprintst, thats funny. Basically now it is a new boat. The fiberglass under the new gelcoat and winshield are about the only things that arent new

My next door neighbour thought mine was new as well. Yours does look too nice though. No one will ever know about all your hard work if it looks showroom.

Awesome SKI,

I can't believe how it turned out. I love the graphics and Aluminum. Real flashy. We'll be able to tell your boat from across the lake.

Re: transom and floor replacement

Thanks mitch and bob.
Today I installed the trim pump, gas tank, battery, radio, glove box, Speaker panels, fishfinder, and engine controls. It is almost done. I have to get the splashwell boot so I can install the motor and am waiting on a couple fittings and a tach wire harness. Once the motor is on I can do a testdrive and mount the pitot and fishfinder sensor. I have to find where the water comes off the back of the boat with no bubbles for them to be mounted. Im glad it was windy today. oterwise I would have been upset I couldnt be out on the lake. I will be ready by the next nice day.

Thank you highvoltage. It has been a long project and just now I am finally assured it was well worth it. I wouldnt trade it for a new bowrider. I know mine is now built better and imho looks better than any new boat on the market. Now a cuddy cabin i/o is a different story. I am thinking I will drive it for a couple years and then trade hopefully even for a cuddy in the same condition this was when I started. Then start the process all over again.

Thanks frisco,
Today I put the motor on, got the trim hydrolics working, and started the motor. Woo hoo, It was real nice to hear it start up. Now just a few fittings to come in and install them and take it for a ride so I can figure out where to mount the pitot and fishfinder sensor.

Skibum,
Looks Great! Gotta be an awesome feeling just replying to everyone's posts and not having to worry about what to do next! This is giving me some motivation to get out anytime I have a minute to get closer to the end of mine:)
Again, congrats! Everything looks great!
