Looks pretty solid, CT. You got plenty of ooze-through. I'm guessing that transom won't be coming off the boat anytime soon...

Ok boys. Here are some pics of my filets, and the new drain hole totally submerged in epoxy putty. I'll tell you right now the putty wasn't the easiest stuff to work with. But! Is going to work slick. It's hard as rock and rugged ****. I'm hoping tomorrow I'm going to be able to cover it in fiberglass.

Make sure before glassing anything that the epoxy putty is totally cured. I'm not familiar with it. Some other products take days/weeks to completely cure while they are gassing off. meaning they make air bubbles.
Looks cool though!

No worries with off-gassing of epoxy products, it the petroleum distillate solvent based adhesives that off-gas.

CT, looks like you had a time with the epoxy putty on the fillets and around the drain hole. You may (or may not) want to sand that stuff down a bit and fair over it with another thin coat of putty to smooth things out a bit before glassing.

Thanks guys. Ya grub I'm going to give a quick sand and another thin smoothing coat. I don't know if I would use this product again? It was very difficult to work with. I'm going to try and thicken some epoxy resin and see what that is like. I do know For a fact That this putty will do is job and then some. Thanks for watching and helping guys. I'll post more tomorrow. I'm going to geta good amount of stingers abs cross braces cut tomorrow before the big game.

Got the rear section cut and marked. Now there drying from a coat of resin. Cut out some more Stringers, and cut in another bulkhead.
