i have an 85 bayliner that the upper part is secured to the lower by screws. i am looking for something to pull toys better than the eyelets down by the lower unit. <br /><br />1. do i need to stay below the bumper line to mount, or is up above still going to be alright??<br /><br />2. the back of my boat comes to a slight point, how much backing to i need inside and can i straddle that point with a new hook?? i was thinking of a 2x6 angle cut to fit up in the point a bit with big washers on the back side of that. <br /><br />thoughts???
