Transom leak! Tracker Pro guide.

Hey everyone,
Looks like I may have found the culprit. It looks like whoever installed the lowrance fish finder cable did not use below water silicone on one screw. When I took the screw out that holds the cable to the transom water stared trickling out. I hooked up the shop vac and sucked out water until it stopped then applied 3M 4200 to the holes. You might check around that transom more to see if all the moisture is out. If there is wood in there, you need to ve sure it is still solid...

I did have a look through the 4 inch cap you can remove and it looks like it’s all aluminum ribbing in there.

Some are, but better to be safe. I am not sure which models are all alum and which are not. Hope all goes well for you!!
