Transom Max Weight

I just purchased a 9.9 Merc 4 stroke. 84lbs. I have a 25hp Johnson on a 16 foot Aluminum Grumman Rogue 1990. I have a Garlick 4 stroke Kicker plate that weighs approx. 20lbs. Is this too much weight on the back of my boat. Was going to have the plate mounted on the transom but it seems awful heavy. Just a bit nervous.<br />Thanks

Seems like alot of equipment back there, Boneal..<br />I think we'll move this over to Boat topics and questions...maybe you'll get some better info there.

Are you planning on TWO motors back there or are you replacing one with the other??<br /><br />What is the max HP rating of the boat, that rating takes into consideration the weight of the motor on the transom.
