Yes Round over ALL edges. Yes, cabosil is a VERY fine powder. Just like Talcum powder. Takes about 1.5 quarts of it to thicken a quart of resin. The resin you use is the same resin and Hardener but I would NOT use Bondo Resin cuz it has wax in it. You need to use a Marine Grade Laminating resin with NO WAX.

Hello Phil, as you may have already guessed very little will get past the master, woodonglass! If you follow all of the advice from these guys, you will get the best possible outcome. It seems to me that WOG has already saved your bacon, so to speak. With your existing skills and knowledge combined with the highest quality and deep understanding of the process you've embarked upon, gentlemen like WOG and others here will provide the direction you'll need going forward.

What kind of rear platform was on the boat? It almost looked like a parasail boat I've seen here in Cairns, (Australia).

Thanks, and I appreciate the help from all.iam learning new stuff every day from hear.ive did a few transom s back in the day before the www.it was mostly a back yard learning process but it worked for the time.lol I didn't know about PB in tell I saw the diction on this fourms and I was missing out on fill in the gaps. Kind of taking my time on it because Iam doing a eng. Swop out also from a 470 go a v6.So I'll also have to make some motor mounts.i have a complete boat and motor I bought so shouldn't be to difficult. The deck is common here, it's a alum. Made for trawling, to put trawl doors and net on it.It keeps water, mud, and trash out of boat.Also come ' s in handy for other things to like fishing, etc. I one of the previous pic u can see I had added a boom and wench for pulling up my trawl doors and help the back out from having to pull ropes in 140-150' behind boat. Down here in south louisiana we have many recreation ' s like trawling for shrimp, crabbing, fishing, I mostly do it for food in the freezer. My main Hobbie is bass fishing tournament. Plus I am a captain on a jack up boat for 27 years same company.so boats, boats, boats. What's it a jack up boat? Lol check out Ariesmarime.com , it will be easier than to explain.
