Im thinking about buying this boat decent shape the rot has already been removed Im a carpenter by trade I was wondering if this would be a easy fix it looks pretty easy. the guy was saying they have liquid you can pour in there between the fiberglass and it dries stronger then wood. other then that the boat is real clean. curious to know why this rotted though. I can get the boat for couple hundred.

Do a search for seacast and see what you think. I actually saw my first seacast failure this year on iboats too.

Transoms are not tough and if you are comforatbale with wood working..... it will be easier for you to stick with wood.

I think Im going to stick wth wood guess I better get a boat building book. putting the wood in dose't bother me its properly re glassing and or making it stout, strong and water proof that worry's me. I bought the boat could not pass on it for the price. hopefully I can pick some brains as I go on here as well. going to put a 85- 115hp merc on it with my 9.8 merc kicker. mabe if I take some pics soemone could guide me. quick study here

Thanks Ted
