What are the easiest and best paddle type tie downs to use? I have a rachet and hate it.

I like the Rod Saver brand. They have a nice padded sleeve with velcro that covers the buckle and no scratching the boat..

I have them and like them, put the hooks in appropriate holes, lift paddle up, pull strap almost tight, push paddle down, I then fold the lose strap lay it against the paddle and attach the velcro cover.

Thanks...Are they easy to use?

Yes,once you get the idea of how tight to make them they are super easy...
The padded cover is great...no strap flapping in the wind...:D

I agree, same as what i have. Velcro straps keeps all the slack up n out of the way when towing, and like above said no scratching should it come in contact with the hull.
