Transom wheels--is this acceptable

Hi,

I bought a set of wheels from a seller in Sweden. When I received them one of the brackets had red paint on it and was bent. It is clearly not new.

Is this acceptable?

Cost over $400.00 with duties etc.

just straighten it out with 2 hammers, one on top and the other on bottom and hit to get the bend out.

OK, I realize I can perhaps straighten it however, i bought it as new would you accept this?

are as they functional as new ones? I would complain but it's probably not an option to send back.

Hi,

they wheels are new. The brackets have obviously been installed on a boat and taken off for some reason.

I guess I can ask for a discount.

Hi All,

I did get a reply. The person was very kind and realized that he had made a mistake and sent me a demo piece. He quickly sent me new brackets.

I am now a happy camper and can recommend the person.

If so how do you like them... now that the mistake was cleared up?
