1996 Sylvan Angler. So I was lucky and only one of the gates was hit. Marine guy can't repair it. Is there a junk yard somewhere for parts?

Being as it is 15 years old, you'd be lucky to find one. A local aluminum welder could make a new frame from stock and the local sign shop could replicate the decals for the panel.
You're lucky. A whole building fell on mine.

Welcome to iboats.

Gates are one of the only things that have stayed pretty much the same so you should be able to call a Sylvan/Smoker/Starcraft dealer and get a new one, if not a salvage yard should be able to find one pretty easily.

What are the dimensions of the gate your looking for? Maybe post a picture of a "good" one. I may know someone that might have a few. He's got an old Hurricane deck boat. The railing and gates are the same as a pontoon. The boat is getting scrapped (bad transom) and he's parting it out.

If you want, I could put you in touch with him if you got the dimensions and a photo.

Find a local commercial store front awniing maker.
A lot of those canvas covered awnings have aluminum frames that are the same size tubing as pontoon railings.
They might be able to fix your gate or replicate your gate.
