I am beginning the journey to remodel the interior of my 36' Trojan Tri Cabin. I am considering using the Teak and Holly vinyl flooring by PlasTeak for the flooring in the three cabins, hallway and stairs. The rear deck and fly deck are original teak decks. Ceramic tile in the bathrooms (walls, floor and shower floor), yes I am experienced with ceramic tile but welcome input based on experience of others. I am considering rubber backed carpet for the stateroom walls. They presently have vinyl wall covering that needs replaced and I am thinking that rubber back carpet will add insulation to help with heating and air conditioning. Looking for comments, Pros and Cons as I have not purchased any materials. I know that this will not be the cheapest way to go, my priority is for it to last and be low maintenance.
