On my tri hull that I am replacing the transom and deck on--the bilge drain hole is located in the middle V of the bottom of boat out the rear. There is also(like all tri-hulls,I guess)two other V's one on either side. That's three total.Question is how would you channel water,if any gets in,to the center V where the drain is.Anybody ever come up with this one??I can post a pic.if needed.thax

If your tri-hull is built like mine, where the stringers meet the transom, the aft bottom corner is cut out to alow water to "slosh" from the outer "v"'s to the center then pumped out.

my center stringer shows what rocky might be refering to, also I used that same idea and notched my side stringers the same way incase any water gets up there is can drip down to the center of the hull

Yeah,I should have also noted that the two stringers on either side of the center are short of the transom by 2ins.That's the way the factory did it,I guess,so water would slosh over to the center bilge area. Not the best idea--but this ain't no violin case either.:DThax fellows
