I just had a girl come to my door who was a dead cheer leader. I could not under stand her and i thought she was a handicap person by the way she was talking. I was being nice and then she took out this mouth peace and looked at me like i was an idiot and said im a dead cheer leader.

I'm still laughing

Creative.
The best thing I've had so far was a costume that involved an exposed bloody ribcage.

i usually have a lot of kids, but this year the first was at 7:30 then a trickle, total of maybe 20, it was dead at 8:30. the ugliest was a teenage boy in horrible drag.

I don't pay much attention to the trick or treaters.... All they want is a hand out and very few say 'thanks'. They act like I owe them candy....?...

I just had George W. Bush come up to my front door. The kid looked at me and just said "scary, isn't it?"

We had a total of 0 at our house. 11 blocks away at my inlaws they had over 300. We go over there and most of the kids are great the little ones that can hardly talk are the best. There was a little ferry that even her little skirt light up with led lights. the 3 brothers came dressed as a knifle-oldest spoon- middle and a shrimp fork toddler. all home made. then there was a little dorothy from the wizard of oz that was just as cute as a button. The teens are pain in the butt rude and no manners.

I only had 14 this year. On the plus side, all were creative and very polite. The second kid (devil mask and impressive robes) apologized for breaking my doorbell. I told him it was already broke but I keep forgetting to fix it. A couple of others commented on the door bell not seeming to work. Great kids. Unfortunately, I have enough candy left to, if not kill, at least seriously maim me.

I had 0 trick or treaters this year... last year, had maybe 20-30... guess that poison candy did the trick.:D

Seriously, I don't know why no one came around this year. We thought about taking my son trick or treating, but A: I had to work, and B: he's still too young... next year for sure though.

Re: Trick or treeters

No thanks, I quit doing that stuff shortly after high school. :D;)

LOL. I haven't heard that reference in many decades.

While I'm here, I was impressed as the majority of tricker treaters (older ones) said thanks, happy halloween, have a good evening, etc. I was shocked as I didn't expect it.
BTW, Handing out candy is what it's all about.

Re: Trick or treeters

I went to the ex girlfriend in a larger town then mine. Nobody around here really decorates.(We are very conservative around here.) But, she does. This is her second year of setting the whole front yard up with scary stuff. The newspaper came by and took pictures! (Thankfully, I was wearing a mask and nobody in that town knows me.) The best was this little boy that was just so scared of me in the mask . So, I took off may mask and walked away. My ex said don't worry that's just Charlie and he's just wearing a mask. A few moments later she wanted me to walk back without the mask and she said "Charlie come over here". The kid started saying "NOOOO". So I stayed back. Poor kid, for the rest of his life he will be afraid of anyone named Charlie. :) . lol

As his mom was carrying him back to the car he said, "I want to go home. I'm not good at this". Just the way he said it made me laugh.
