have a 05 Mercury 60 4-stroke.

Just bought the boat yesterday. I inspected it and see a hose is pinched and knicked. I assume fixing this hose will fix my speedometer? You can see the damage area of the hose.

Is there a patch or some kind of hose connections I can just cut and add on? Or do I replace the whole thing? I havent followed the hose yet to see where exactly it goes.

It's in a Lowe FM165 btw.

What about the trim gauge?

You can use a drip irrigation line splice fitting. check Home Depot or Lowes
If this got pinched check any trim wires for pinching too.

So I was looking at pictures of other people's motor for their trim sensor. It looks like my motor lacks this sensor.

I only have a tilt locking bar. Or am I just confused?
