Trim and Tilt - What is this noise?

I have a '98 Yamaha 115 and the trim and even though the trim and tilt seems to be working, it makes this noise that I don't have a clue what's going on with it. The noise happens at the 20 second and the 30 second mark in the video.

Also, I have a leak at the top of the tilt piston. Is this hard to rebuild?

Sounds like a few air bubbles in the system....fluid can be added and unit cycled several times to expel air from system.

I have added fluid several times by cycling it up and down and then filling the reservoir. Is there a different or better way to get rid of the air bubbles?

Also, I have a leak at the top of the tilt piston. Is this hard to rebuild?

Is this tilt tube hard to put a new gasket set in? I can't seem to find much information on how to do it. Even my manual doesn't say much about it.

Hard? Nothing is hard if you have the proper tools.

never done this before, however just looking at your photo...

looks like you need to tilt up the motor, support it.
push out the "con rod" shaft hoding the upper piston end in the motor.
retract the piston.
screw off the top of the cylinder where you have the red ring marked.
probably the "piston head" part of the piston rod will screw off so you can pull the rod completely out.
then the leaking seals will be accessable.

this is just a guess, but it looks like it can be done with the motor on the boat.
