I bought the boat used, an '88 21' Sylvan Super Sportster with a '88 88 hp spl motor (Johnson)with manual tilt and no trim. Motor was replaced with a '76 200 hp Evinrude with both power tnt but no wiring harness. Looking at the motor from the stern, the pump motor is on the right with 3 wires coming out of it:black, blue/white tracer, and green/white tracer. Under the motor and just to the left is another cylinder with 5 wires coming out. 2 of the 5 is a pair of black wires. The remaining 3 are as follows: Black, blue and green. Wiring these wires directly to the battery provides the expected results. So, I need a harness with the necessary switches/relays/solonoids etc. and a schematic on how to wire this this properly. Any ideas out there?
