trim and tilt

I have a complete trim and tilt off a 1992 70hp rude. i want to put the round upright steering cylinder from a 1984 60 hp rude on itso i will have trimand tilt. can someone tell me if it can be done and if it will work

Ken....you already have TNT in the unit off the 70 horse. Not sure exactly what your asking.

OBJ <br />I have bought a 1992 tilt and trim unit both sides boat side and motor side of and evenrude 70 hp, and i have a 1984 60 hp evenrude on my boat. and i want to mount my 1984 60hp rude to the 1992 rude tilt and trim unit that i bought. will the 60 hp rude fit on the steering post of the 1992 rude trim and tilt unit. and thank you for your reply. ken
