I have a 77 1150 and I would like to get the cutout switch out to service or replace at some point. Given the unfortunate design choice in its placement, what is the path of least resistance to get it off?
The trim limit switch is listed as NLA. I would unplug it at the wiring harness and add a short jumper to bypass it. Trim by sound and feel. Most boats will ventilate before you would have hit the trim limit.
