I have got the upper drive installed and are trying to get the trim cyclinders back on.
The left one went on fine but the right one is about 2 inches off. It came off just fine but some how the cylinder has moved out????
How can I get this done? I have tried everything I can think of. I need some of the expert help I get here.

Re: trim cyclinders

No expert but, when putting mine on the other day I trimmed the trim all the way down and lifted the out drive turning and lifting til it finally got to the point I coud get it in there. maybe an easier way, but thats what i had to do.

Re: trim cyclinders

if i leave my drive off long enough, when try to reinstall one trim ram is always further out than the other, I usually trim up/down so that I can get the pin through one ram and into the drive. Then trim up or down so that the other ram lines up, then push the pin all the way through. this may not be the best way, but it has worked for me so far. just my .02

Seems like if you have one ram hooked up, then you can run the trim in or out and the ram hanging should move first because it doesn't have any load on it, right? Not sure.. you could try to just trim it up or down to get it lined up, probably easier with a helper!

Ayuh,... Lift the drive up, 'n slip the pin in through the Longest ram,....
Gravity will collapse it,...
Catch the other ram with the pin, as it passes by.... ;)
