Ok, I think I have found out why the trim has been acting up on the boat. I found the sending unit that attaches to the Cylinder Assy. laying behind the cylinder when we were removing the motor. Now, I don't know how the unit attaches to the cylinder and would like to know if I just need to get a new sending unit and how do I attach it to the cylinder? I found the sending unit for $36 but, I think the unit is find its just what ever piece that attaches to the cylinder is whats bad. We checked the trim when the motor was off and only one side lifts up.
