Trim failure F115

Hi,
Yesterday, when I switched on battery on my F115, I trimmed down the motor
and then it stopped suddenly. Impossible to trim up or down anymore. I hear the relay when I trim up or down but the motor does not work.
I released the screw to put down the motor, but impossible to trim anymore.
What could I check to be sure it is the motor which is out of order, or perhaps it is an other problem ?
Many thanks

Is there fluid in the reservoir? Once you released the manual screw did the motor travel all the way down? If you have full motion, I would suspect the trim motor isn't getting power.

Also, you could have enough power to operate the trim relay, but not enough to run the motor. check electrical connections, and the negative battery lead on the motor...it will be the heavy black wire....

Disconnect the motor leads from the relays and touch them to a battery and see if the motor will turn. Reverse the leads to see if that helps. If it still will not run than it will be a problem with the motor not relays or connections

Thanks Triumphrick, fluid is independant with electric motor runs or not, but yes reservoir is full and motor travels all the way down. I am sure it is an electrical problem but battery is full, F115 starts immediately. When I trim, battery level does not decrease, stays at 12,5V . I will check connections again.
Do you know how I could be sure this is the motor faulty because my boat is in the water and I have just services it for maintenance, so it is difficult (or expensive) to remove my boat out of water (no trailer), check if it is the motor faulty, order a new one and wait ...
Thanks a lot

Hi, I have done this job and motor didn't work anymore, wires became hot.
I have another question about this part:
I saw trim motor to sell for F115 but with part number 64E-43880-00-00: that's 115HP 2 strokes part number. Normally for F115 it is part number 68V-43880-00-00.
But when I look at 68V... and 64E.... details and diagrams, it seems to be the same motor, however it is not the same price ???
Some retailers told me trim motor 64E-43880-00-0 fits to all F115 year 2000 and on, someone could confirm or not ?
Many thanks
