So i smoked my 1150, not sure just lost all power still ran got me back to ramp and i trailered, came home listed it, sold it next day.
Now in removing, i needed to do a rebuild on a trim ram, so i went to tearing it apart and destroyed it. ordered a used one, and it came with trim sensor and wiring, i was like score, i have a trim gauge and began looking for diagrams for wiring, its the old 2 ram system, which works great, but now i am perplexed, it appears it has 2 brown wires coming from position sensor on ram mount, pic attached
Now i need to check closer one may have a white stripe, as referenced to go to gauge, but it didn't appear so.
So does anyone have any input as 2 where the 2 wires would connect to get the trim gauge working??
The new motor is a 1350, and compared to my 1150 which i would say never ran as new, but did fine, considering its pushing a 2500 lb on the trailer boat, which it managed to get to almost 40 mph, im guessing 40 mph will not be an issue now, the 1350 seems to be considerably more powerful and torqueeee than the 1150.
Going with a 13.5 by 17 pitch prop, so we shall see, my old prop not sure of the size went with the old motor
So purpose of this motor choice months ago, was for when the jet pump goes on it this fall for the salmon fishing on sacramento river, thinking its gonna have all i need to push this ole trawler along
