I had a 1985 johnson 140 & have went to a 2000 johnson 150. My trim gauge worked with the 140, but not with the 150. Do the newer motors take a different gauge, or is my sender shot? I did have another gauge I tried off the 140 that worked also & would not work on the 150. It heats the gauge resister up & pegs it up or down.
