Hi guys, new to the forum. Run a search on this, but didn't find anything that would help. The trim motor when in use make a rough sound. Don't know of any other way to describe it. No problem with trim working up and down find, just the bad noise. I bought the boat recently from a dealer and he said that Mercury had a bad batch of trim motors that made noise and that I had gotten one of them. Now for the question. Is there any truth to that or what can you tell me. Great forum, enjoy reading it.
