The motor "worked" before and after the reassembly. The resistance came closer to specs. However, now needing two gaskets after the trim motor inspection, knowing the motor has been on there at least 5+ years i decided it's best to move on to a new motor.
I do plan on measuring the resistance before and after installation of the new.

Update. I installed the new trim motor yesterday. Everything worked as expected with a new motor. I think I performed the "load test" correctly? I installed motor back to the TnT system, hooked everything up and tested as followed:
  • I attached the green wire from TnT motor to the harness.
  • Attached black lead from multi-meter to blue connection on harness
  • Attached red test lead directly to the blue wire to the TT motor
  • Activated the motor to go up
  • Test result of 16.77 amps under load
I didn't test very long as my multi-meter only has a 10amp slot. The new TnT motor is a Db electrical motor. I know. I know it's not an OEM part. I'm willing to give it a go though!
