Hey Y'all I am new to this and I need some help. I have a 82 Starcraft 22' aluminum hull with a 140 HP mercruiser motor. Here is the problem I replaced a hydraulic line and a rubber O ring on the pump and also the relay I guess you would call it. I got it back together and the trim worked just fine, when I got the boat the hydraulics on the side of the motor were froze up we did get them to move freely. I left it after seeing it was working to move on to another part of the boat that we wanted to start working on when we came back to the trim a few days later to check it nothing happened it will go down but now it won't go up the pump will not come on when we push the switch but the down button will work just fine. Please help if you can. Thank you.

Re: Trim problem

Sounds electrical. Clean all connections. Physically take them apart and clean them. Looking good doesn't guarantee they are good.Edit: might try electricaql forum.

Re: Trim problem

I would check the relay and it's wiring. I believe your boat is direct for down and thru the relay for up.

Re: Trim problem

Will it go up if you use the trailer button? If you are using the trailer button, does it make any noise? Try putting it in reverse and see if it will go up. You could have the reverse lock out of adjustment.

Re: Trim problem

If the trailer button doesnt work, check the up solenoid. green grass, blue sky
green=down
blue=up
