Recently replaced my trim pump assembly ...oddly enough after raising and lowering the trim pump few times.
The fluid inside the trim pump reservoir looks like a fine foam has got into it . after a few minutes the bubbles seem to dissipate and disappear . Other then that the pump runs the drive up an down without any issue .

Any ideas ? Air leak somewhere ?

Maybe pushing air out of the lines from when you replaced the pump. Just an idea. If it keeps up prolly something else but If it stops I would assume it is just the air in lines being pushed out based on "fine foam" statement. Run it up and down a few times see if it keeps up.

Howdy,

As long as the foam is free of water, it's pretty much normal. The system will eliminate itself of air.
The bubbles will eventually dissipate as you run it up and down. As the bubbles slowly go away you'll need to top the system off.....
