Re: trim pump help

That motor used to be avail aftermarket. It came as a motor/reservoir combo, however, there was more than one, and they looked almost identical, except one would not work, as the armature was too short. I would look them up on the web, and find one local to you. Take the bottom plate (pump and control valve) off your resevoir and take the motor/reservoir down and match it up.

It might be easier to see if a starter shop will fix your old one up.

trim-pump-exploded.jpgIf it doesn't work anyway why not take it apart and find out why?
I got one last summer that was seized from water intrusion, took it apart and cleaned it and now it works.

Re: trim pump help

well, That pump says it is the correct one. I presume your motor is 1970-1977 IL4/6? That one should mate with the pump and reservoir base unit you have. Best of luck....
