Connected batteries after the winter, all electronics work and meter reads 12 volts. When you hit the trim switch as well as the trailer switch nothing happens. No "clicking" or noise from the pump. Fuses behind the dash are ok, is there a fuse back on that pump?

Also going to try and attempt replacing the impeller tomorrow, any last minute suggestions?

there is a small fuse on the trim pump in a black fuse holder for the controls and a big one were the positve cable conects

when you hooked up the batterys are you sure you connected the trim pump cables its easy to have one fall out of sight and not connect it

tommays

Check the 90Amp fuse on the starters main terminal. It's a square fuse approx 3/4" square with terminal on it.

.......Another possible fix. Take the covers off the trim sender and limit switch, take a small flat-bladed screwdriver and scrape the brass ring that the contact runs over as the leg moves up and down. They're notorious for getting a light film of corrosion on them which won't allow the contact to, well.....make contact. After doing that, add a little dielectric grease around the ring to help prevent it.

raid the kitchen sink for dishwashing detergent to reinstall your impellor. carefully check your housing for any warping/damage. installing a new impellor in a bunk housing will see you doing the same job much sooner then you need too.
