Ive been using my boat for 6 years now and when trimming down all the way I alway go by hearing the trim motor change in pitch signaling the leg is completely down. Now I am wondering if the trim stop puck is supposed to detect that or is it just for up? I know that when I trim up all the way it does stop automatically and then I have to press the up button harder to trailer it.

Is it working properly?

Also, I have A puck on each side of my leg and each one has wires going to it. I assume one is for the trim guage which I don't have and one is for the trim stop? Which one is which?

Trim Sender which controls your trim gauge is starboard side. Your limit switch will be port side

If you look at those "Pucks" as you call them, you will see they have names on them.

The trim limit switch keeps the drive from trimming up more than a set amount. Does nothing for down.

Ah, thanks. Ya "puck" is my technical term. I'm Canadian, everything looks like a hockey puck. Lol
