Trim sending unit

I have a 2005 Merc 75ELPT 4S model # 1F75412DD. Can you tell me or tell me how to see if this has the sending unit so that I can mount a trim gauge.

Here is the parts list for your model number:

75/90 4-STROKE - Mercury, Mercruiser, Force, etc. Parts Lookup

It doesn't look like it came with a trim sender as it is listed as a kit under Accessories.

Hi there, Most Mercury engine models do not come with the trim sending unit installed on the engine from new. It's up to the dealer to install it if the boat manufacturers provide a trim gauge from new.
