The wife and I attempted to launch last night for an overnight and then all day trip today, while I checked everything before leaving for the coast I neglected to check the trim of which I usually do. Upon launch when I attempted to lower the motor I got squat, pulled the boat out of the ramp and began an inspection which resulted in finding the (what my marine mechanic told me, of which I have zero reason to doubt) trim switch has literally become two pieces. I do not have a trim gauge, nor do I need one. I can tell when my boat is happy by the way she sounds and performs. My question is how do I eliminate or bypass this component?
Thanks in advance and tight lines, Jon
