Is there any way to break down how to use the trim settings. I am in need of finding out how the trim settings can effect the speed and manueverability. Is there actual steps that I can use to teach people how to use them? I am not a new boater and have been around outboards for many years BUT, as you know, teaching someone to use something is very different than doing it yourself. I can be reached through my e-mail address missingass@yahoo.com<br />Thank you in advance

Re: Trim settings

kcronin, if you have a trim gauge you can explain it to them to have the trim tucked in when acclerating out of the hole and trim out to about one-third up on the gauge or not to hear the rpm's to raise up and cavitate or ventilate
