I have a 2000 150 mercury xr6 . Noticed that trim was sounding weak during a day of fishing. Got to the ramp and it quit all together. I'll tell what I have done in short and hope someone can tell me what repair I'm looking at. I've got 12 volts to the trim motor which eliminates the relays I'm assuming. Trim motor will not turn when bypassed straight to a battery. Wondering if it's the pump. Also, should there be oil visible when I took the motor off or the pump. Any help please.
